Our main feature, Klang Valley In 53 Objects, tries define the contemporary KL experience by describing the things our city now contains. We've included bak kut teh, RapidKL buses, Perodua Kancils, copblocks, and paint from the Pudu Jail mural.

Our other feature this month is also inevitable. Big Day Out is a retrospective of Urbanscapes 2010, with loads of photographic evidence, some vital stats, and reams of quotes! Were you spotted?

For PULSE, we look at Dr M's coffee-table book of photography, the Idiot Drivers in KL! photoblog, and the Dogathon 2010. We also talk to performance artist Intan Rafiza about her work, and interview bouncer Raja Zahidan about his. And, in time for puasa month, we present a guide to the top must-visit Ramadhan bazaars in 101.

OUT&ABOUT has us looking at the coolest happenings of the past month, with Usher's Bukit Jalil concert, the Nike Cup Kuala Lumpur 2010 finals, and Hujan vs Bunkface, among others!

In EAT&DRINK, we look into makan places like the Zaid Ibrahim-owned, Kelantanese-cuisine-serving WhiteHouse Cafe; the Bangkok-mari fusion restaurant Pla Dib; and the rebranded seafood emporium South Sea Seafood! We scour Wangsa Maju for it's best eateries, and check out the Valley's top beef noodle stalls. Also, FriedChillies foodie Honey Ahmad tells us about her time at this year's New York City Food Film Festival!

For THE ARTS, we note that Nyoba Kan's annual International Buto Festival has returned; look at Nell Ng's revisionist fairy-tale Always in Wonderland?; and ask you to look forward to Rimbun Dahan's yearly dance anthology Dancing in Place. In Recap, we watch Mencari Kartika, a documentary about the poor woman would got caned for drinking alcohol; and listen to Fahmi Reza tell us about Universiti Malaya's woefully forgotten tradition of student activism.

LIFE&STYLE has us looking into Caramel Boutique, the Kenanga Wholesale City shopping haven, and the fine furniture purveyors Woodshop. We stop by Photo Crafts, a new must-visit for Lomography enthusiasts. And, in Reportage, we figure out why blogshops are the way forward by talking to some of their proprietors!

Finally, AROUND TOWN recommendations! Try out the pork-intense BellyGood and the cosy Baan Aa-Haan Thai; visit painter Kow Leong Kiang's new (and nude) exhibition, Intimate Collisions; and catch Phua Chu Kang The Movie!
